It seems to me that Americans spend an inordinate amount of time bashing their own country. Political sides clash in Congress, at the White House, on social media and at the job site. But as we wind down to the final hours of another year, Americans all clamor to view the almighty ball drop in Times Square and think to themselves, “Happy New Year to America.” And come January 1, we all will going back to finding some fault with the good old USA.
Maybe, just maybe–but probably not–I will try not to get lost in the rhetoric of hating one side of America or another–red or blue–and maybe I’ll just go about my business as American retiree and entrepreneur.
